Coach Tim Claridge brings over 14 years of football coaching experience to the River Ridge Hawks program. Prior to joining the high school ranks, Claridge spent more than a decade coaching in the Thurston County Youth Football League, working with athletes in grades 2 through 8. During that time, his teams compiled an impressive 54–7 overall record, establishing a reputation for disciplined, fundamentally sound football and strong player development.

In 2025, Claridge took over as Head Coach of the River Ridge Hawks. While the team finished the season 2–7, the year served as a foundational rebuilding season for the program. Following the season, Claridge implemented several strategic staffing changes and program adjustments aimed at strengthening player development, culture, and competitiveness. With those changes in place, the future of River Ridge football looks bright heading into the 2026 season.

Claridge is a 1993 graduate of Lincoln High School, where he played football before continuing his education at the University of Utah, earning an undergraduate degree in Economics. He later attended the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colorado.

Outside of football, Claridge has built a 30-year career in commercial banking, bringing leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational discipline to both his professional and coaching roles.
